The process of design
This trophy is not geometrically normal. The outline is asymmetrical, cut to a particular brief, rather than a generic template. The shape itself is the message - it tells the recipient, this award was made for you, not pulled from stock.
The trophy is composed of mirror glass and crystal. Crystal is clarity and light refraction. Mirror glass creates reflectivity, providing a visual contrast between transparency and reflection. Combined, they give the piece a layered, contemporary feel that a single-material, standard trophy doesn't.
The trophy has decorative accents of metal accessories. They are available in gold, silver or bronze and you can have one finish for the whole order or mix colors for different award levels.
The way the finishing is made.
Text and logos are printed on the crystal surface using color printing and sandblasting. Sandblasting produces a permanent frosted finish that is textured and durable. Color printing on crystal surface with logos, brand color and decorative artwork.
The irregular shape does impose some constraints. Engraving and printing must be located where the surface is sufficiently flat for reading. We position it according to the particular shape and verify the placement in the proof prior to production.
