What it looks like.
The Blade Star Trophy is a five-pointed star of crystal and metal with faceted edges. They're cut at an angle, so the edges aren't rounded, they're sharp, like the edge of a knife catching the light. The crystal body is set on a metal base in color finish: Glory Gold, Starry Silver or Rose Bronze.
It measures 27 x 8cm. The star itself is the main draw. The points are clean and even from the front side. The faceted edges that differentiate the Blade Star Trophy from more standard star designs are visible from the side. The base is a polished metal, plated with colors. The blade is mounted above in a star shape.
How the final details work.
Names & titles are engraved on the crystal portion. The text is on the surface, permanent and easy-to-read. Logos and decorative artwork are applied on the metal base or crystal edges by means of color printing. The two methods are different: carving for the recipient details and color printing for the branding.
The Blade Star Trophy comes in 3 metal finishes. Glory Gold, the traditional pick, takes first place or top honors. Starry Silver is for the 2nd place or modern events. Rose Bronze is warmer than the gold and silver options that are standard.
Who Owns The Blade Star Trophy
We have provided the Blade Star Trophy for school reading programs, student awards and corporate achievement awards. One school district ordered 200 pieces for their annual reading challenge, with each trophy engraved with the student's name and the number of books read. They told us the students had them sitting on shelves, not in drawers.
