The mountain shape is cut from K9 crystal. It's optical-grade material - clearer and heavier than standard glass. Light passes through it differently. Under stage lights, it catches every edge of the mountain silhouette, making it visible from across the room.
The base is solid beech wood. We don't paint it or cover it with heavy varnish. Just sand it smooth, seal it with natural oil wax, and let the grain show through. Beech is light-colored with clear, even grain. It doesn't compete with the crystal - it supports it.
Between them, the crystal and wood weigh about 1360 grams. That's substantial enough to feel like a real award, not a souvenir.
We use two processes on the crystal. Engraving for the text - company names, award titles, recipient details. The engraving is permanent. It's carved into the crystal, not printed on top. Color printing for the logo and artwork - anything with gradients or multiple colors gets printed directly onto the crystal surface. The print bonds permanently.
The wood base gets its own treatment. We can add your company name, event date, or logo with UV printing or laser engraving. Both are permanent and clean.
