Optical Performance
Normal glass blocks usually sacrifice clarity for strength. This K9 Crystal Block does not. The crystal composition provides exceptional light transmittance, with a refractive index that produces a warm, clear beam without the muddiness or yellow cast of cheaper glass materials. In ordinary blocks, the thicker parts are clearly coloured green, but in this unit the colour is visually clear due to less iron oxide in the raw material. Several production batches have been tested with extended UV exposure and the transparency reading remained stable in all groups. The crystal formula also prevents the hazing often seen on inferior glass products after years of cleaning and exposure to the elements.

Logistics & Support
The oblong shape is a special packaging case, because the ratio of length to width creates a leverage point that is vulnerable to snapping when impacted. We have foam inserts inside our cartons that are die-cut to hold each K9 Crystal Block individually, with corrugated separators in between layers. Wooden pallets are corner-guarded and shrink-wrapped prior to loading. Over the last eighteen months, this packing protocol has resulted in remarkably low transit breakage across shipments to many continents. We deliver on a predictable schedule, because this format runs on its own production schedule constantly (not swapped in and out of other sizes). The minimum order quantity is a deliberate invitation to trial, not a volume constraint.

After-Sales and Customisation
First-time buyers receive a printed installation card with recommended joint widths for this specific aspect ratio and suggestions for mortar mixes for interior and semi-exposed applications. Any unit arriving with edge chips from transit will be replaced if a packing photo showing the batch number is provided. Custom colors other than the standard transparent finish are still available at a slightly higher minimum and surface treatments such as light frosted or polished edge finishes are available at the same entry level quantity. We also make sample blocks available for qualified buyers with a rapid turnaround so contractors can test adhesion strength and light behavior before placing production orders.

Q1: Is it possible to order a smaller quantity for a small project?
Some interior designers need smaller quantities for display or sample walls, and we understand that." For those instances we recommend ordering the regular amount and saving the excess for later phase work. The price per unit remains the same regardless of batch size due to our separate forming line for this format.

Q2: What happens with breakage during shipping?
We pack very carefully to avoid any damage in transit, but if any block arrives with visible edge chips or cracks we will replace the damaged pieces at no cost to you. Simply email us a photo of the damaged piece & batch number from the carton label & we will either send replacements out with your next order or arrange separate shipping for urgent jobs.

Q3. What colors do you have custom?
We also produce K9 Crystal Blocks in light grey, champagne and bronze tones in addition to the standard clear finish. Custom colors have a higher minimum and add a few working days to the production schedule. The price adjustment will be based on pigment formulation, but we will be providing a firm quote prior to confirming any custom order so there will be no surprises.

Q4. Can I get a sample before I order for production?
Yes. We provide up to 2 samples free of charge per qualified buyer, with buyer paying shipping. Samples ship fast in a window of your request. We recommend to try out the sample with your choice of mortar type and lighting conditions before full order.

Q5: What are your payment methods?
First orders are placed on deposit plus balance before shipment basis. Accepted payment methods are T/T bank transfer and L/C at sight. Repeat customers with established credit history, payment terms are negotiable. Proforma invoice confirms all payment details prior to the production starts.
