The trophy has a smooth gradation of color on polished crystal and permanent sandblasted engraving of text and logos. The color shifts from one hue to another across the surface of the crystal, giving a visual depth that changes with the lighting and the angle of viewing. It's not like solid color trophies or fully clear trophies. It's somewhere in the middle. It has color where it needs it and transparency where it doesn't.
The color is achieved through a curing process that bonds to the crystal surface. It doesn't sit on top like paint, so normal handling won't peel or scratch it off. Light transparency changes. Light areas are more transparent, dark areas have more color. The effects are subtle, but they are there. This is the kind of thing that gets people to pick up the trophy and turn it over to see how the color flows.

- Text filling. The engraved text can be left frosted or filled with color for easy reading against the gradient background.
Quality control.
Each item is processed through three steps. First, the material is inspected, meaning the crystal is checked for bubbles, cloudiness or surface flaws prior to being cut. Secondly, in-process checks during polishing, gradient application and sandblasting – we check color uniformity, engraving depth and surface finish. Third, final inspection before packaging - each trophy is individually inspected for completeness and quality. All crystal is lead-free optical quality material.
